July 2000 - pregnancy "scare", ironic huh!
May 2005 - we got hitched
Sept 2005 - take last pill
Jan 2006 - officially start TTC
April 2007 - purchase CBFM to help track ovulation
June 2007 - day 2-4 bloods to check various hormones - shows slightly elevated testosterone level but otherwise normal
Aug 2007 to May 2010 - moved house, changed jobs, boss diagnosed with cancer, my Dad passed away - during this period of time we continued TTC but not always actively so, although we didn't actively avoid either
May 2010 - 100% actively TTC again
April 2011 - GP refers us to Fertility Clinic
May 2011 - return from holiday to a BFP, which later miscarried at 6 weeks
July 2011 - ultrasound (U/S) and transvaginal scan (TVS) shows I have retroverted (tilts backwards) uterus (knew this from a previous scan) but otherwise all normal
Aug 2011 - BFP (chemical pregnancy)
Aug 2011 - appointment with Fertility Nurse
Sept 2011 - Me: day 2-4 bloods to check quality/quantity of eggs and various hormones - normal with lots of good quality eggs, Max: sperm analysis - normal
Nov 2011 - appointment with Fertility Specialist (Dr "James"). Clomid prescribed from next month to shorten cycle.
Dec 2011 - HSG booked/cancelled due to illness.
Dec 2011 - Round one 50mg Clomid, CD2-6. Day 21 bloods (or 7 dpo) to check for ovulation - progesterone level 85 (30 > shows ovulation)
31 Dec 2011 - BFP
6th Jan 2012 - confirmed chemical pregnancy
Jan 2012 - HSG requested but told no appointments available so would have priority for next cycle (assuming not pregnant)
Jan 2012 - Round two 50mg Clomid, CD2-6
early Jan 2012 - second appointment with Dr "James", agrees on TVS to check if uterine lining thin due to Clomid
mid Jan 2012 - appointment with Dr "James" for TVS to check uterine lining - slightly thin for CD but not a cause for concern, and would thicken upon ovulation
7 Feb 2012 - BFP
14 Feb 2012 - GP appointment, sent referral to hospital for maternity care, request early scans given my history
25 Feb 2012 - private scan shows miscarriage at 7 weeks + 1 day (6w + 5d by my dates); spotting starts that night. Miscarriage proper commences 2 days later and lasts 7 days, however, light bleeding continues for another 4 weeks.
Feb 2012 - visit GP to inform of MC; requests blood tests to check hcg levels and U/S to confirm miscarriage complete
March 2012 - hcg blood test normal, U/S and TVS show MC is complete
April 2012 - Round three 50mg Clomid, CD2-6
May 2012 - BF?
May 2012 - follow up appointment with Dr "James"
