- HSG = hysterosalpingogram (type of procedure to look at "tubes" by injecting dye through the cervix)

- IUI = intrauterine insemination
- IVF = In Vitro Fertilization
- LH = luteinizing hormone (detected in OPK's, right before ovulation)
- LP = luteal phase, days between ovulation and AF/BFP
- OV = Ovulation
- OPK = ovulation predictor kit
- OT = off topic, i.e. topic not related to TTC
- PG = pregnancy/pregnant
- PMA = positive mental attitude
- POAS = pee on a stick (pregnancy test, OPK, etc.) MANY women are POAS addicts, myself included!!
- SA = semen analysis
- SAHM = stay at home mum
- SI = Soya Isoflavones (nature's Clomid)
- TMI = too much information
- TR = tubal reversal
- TTC = trying to conceive
